IMO, he has been the Knicks' best player last 2 years and this is a big blow for the KNicks.

Good thing they signed Kemba in offseason and now back in the rotation. Kemba will help but Randle needs to play like he did last year during regular season with that efficiency if Knicks are going to be a playoff team again.

That's kind of random, speedy recovery to Rose.

He's no longer playing on 1 or 2 year contracts fighting to stay in the NBA so this doesn't surprise me.

Kemba gets another shot -- might be put up or shut up time for him now. Small guards on the far side of 30 only get so many chances to show they aren't washed.

This, the Knicks hit the .500 mark in late Feb last year, right before or as (can't remember) Derrick Rose was coming back from COVID (if you recall, he got COVID like the day after he was traded to the Knicks). He changed the team in March-April, when the Knicks had a great 6 week stretch, which is why they were the 4th seed. After the first 2 playoff games, which NY could have been 2-0 but were 1-1, he was burnt out and the team was blown out in 3 straight games.

On the bright side, i'm happy for Kemba that he will get a chance to play and, if he plays well, there will be a market for him - even if NY does not get much value back - where he can get some minutes and help a contender off the bench.

If the Knicks go with Kemba | Quickly they should be able to hold the fort for a couple months

Knicks are gonna make a desperation move at the deadline, maybe they take a shot at grabbing Sabonis and use Fournier's contract as filler.

Do we know what kind of ankle injury it was?
They mention about the surgery but not about the injury
