The trade was Zion + Ingram for Morant + JJJ. Remember Ingram wasn’t what he is now back then and maybe carried enough value to close the gap of Morant + JJJ > #1/Zion.

And with that trade, no reason for Pelicans not to draft Hunter #4 (Lakers 1st from Davis trade).

Adams (no need for JVal, save draft capital)
