he kinda reminds me of zo, except he can score inside better. if he can learn to shoot or defend point guards, hes going to be a very valuable player.

Of course, because everyone gets them all the time now....oh wait...

There's only one player that de-valued the triple-double, with him chasing his own stats to the detriment of the team.

Take Russ out of the equation, and it's a heck of an achievement for anyone.

17pts, 13ast and two turnovers (before the final pointless play) on arguably the worst team around him in the league (when SGA is out).

Who cares about the triple double. The effort was the highlight.

What more do you want him to do? His starting lineup consisted of

- Isiah Roby
- Poku
- Aaron Wiggins
- Ty Jerome

So pretty much 4 guys who probably shouldn’t even be in the league.

Giddey was also a +6 for the game. The dude did everything he could to put his team in a position to win.

19 year big played fantastic and Giddy Deserves credit. As he's an absolute fantastic passer and will be a great defender once he gets stronger (he would be outmuscled in college let alone how he's been treated in the NBA.

Effort?

Last time I checked he was being paid to play. Hes just doing his job. Currently his job is putting up stats on one of the worst teams in the league and not contributing to winning. Basically you are handing him a participation trophy. Lets see him do this in a win, then he gets credit.

Inflated stats leading a team without SGA but Giddey played REALLY well tonight. Efficient scoring, 4 steals and only 2 turnovers. Not easy to have 14 assists with Poku/Roby as starters ;)

I think his ceiling is way higher than most people think. Gonna need to develop a shot and take advantage of his size at the rim.
With his BBIQ, passing skill and size advantage, he could be an elite player if he develops an average outside shooting.
