Lebron will catch Jordan with longevity

This was long seen coming during his Heatles days when many of us saw an elite longevity coming and we were right. The man is aging but productivity wise, he's been in his prime for as long Kobe was playing with Smush Parker. Let that sink in.
Ol GOAT James will catch Jordan's Ghost and MJ will just have to suck it up. He will still hold the greatest peak but regarding longevity, he will never hold a candle to GOAT James.

I don’t see LAL winning with all that’s going on in the near future. I can see him playing like Brady until 40-44

People will scoff at this but keep in mind LeBron is his 19th NBA season. The previous gold standards for 19th season in the league were Kareem and Karl Malone, who averaged respectively 14.6 and 13.2 points per game...LeBron is averaging 28.7 ppg with an almost 27 PER. This is uncharted territory for a 19th year NBA player.
I can't yet say 44 but LeBron still being pretty decent at 40-41, yes.

Having a longer career that is filled with team hopping, superteam building, duplicity and less FMVPS doesn't make you the GOAT.
Lebron could play till he's 44 and he would still have less FMVPS. He's closer to Tim Duncan in GOAT status than he is to Jordan.

Kareem has had the best longevity and Bron fans never called him the GOAT, but since LeBron is on his way the criteria has changed.

I think I'll take the greatest player of all time over this manufactured "heliocentric offense" era where guys literally chase stats over wins. Guys out there playing like a 2k mycareer style on a and I'm supposed to be amazed by statlines? Anyone who actually watched 2009 LeBron know what you see now is tiers below what he is now on both ends of the floor but the stats fool some people I guess

I'm a LeBron Stan and I rank Kareem and Wilt 1 and 2.

That's the only chance he got. As n.3 on all time rankings now he still needs few seasons and preferably a championship to pass Kareem and at least MVP and championship to pass jordan.

He already is the GOAT according to a collection of highly educated and respected RealGM posters who have forgotten more basketball than most of us know.

You've got to give him credit for the insane longevity, no question about it

yea no, because I don't care how much time goes by. 2011 and 2014 disqualified him from ever catching Jordan. Not to mention the losses to the Warriors. You Lebron fans can shove that under the rug but everyone else wont. He's top 5 at best of all time to the rest of the leagues fanbase. Deal with it.

MVPs + FMVPs
MJ - 11
LBJ - 8
Think he needs a lot more longevity
