21/14 with 3 blocks, but does stuff like this. This is why you shouldn’t be fooled by pretty box scores.

Unfortunately we learned that the hard way.

Him and Conley posted the only positive +/- for the game, +9 for him. He has some mental gaffes, but honestly I can't think of a better fit for him right now than as Goberts backup. Detroit's bigs struggled big time.

whitesides playing well. Whiteside also does goofy stuff on a regular basis. both can be true. Conley was supposed to pick up the ball handler though, he should know whiteside doesnt want to guard a guy at the 3 point line, even though this is is fault. I watched this game. They were lucky they had him last night, they would have gotten destroyed if he wasnt there.

pretty damn good backup center for the minimum. Jazz just got burned from 3. can happen to anyone on any night nowadays

Jazz did fantastic to get him at the min as their backup center. He's underrated.

Hassan deserves blame, but there's lots of blame to go around.
1. Why did all the other ball handlers begin running up the court?
2. Why didn't Conley pick up Diallo?
Whiteside should've gone up to contest, but there's also the possibility of fouling, and Rudy Gobert was out, so you're depth at C is thin and you risk making it thinner.

he's the only reason the Jazz were even in the game in the first half, yes he isn't the best player but he's not as bad as we paint him out to be. Jazz would've gotten smoked if he wasn't in the game.

Exhibit A for low BBIQ. Now everyone should know what they mean by that term from this example.

I saw nothing worth crucifying, he turned the ball over in flat situation, but that can happen to everyone.

Yeah, Hassan gets a really bad rap imo. He makes way too many of these empty-headed plays... so be sure. He's a guy who's not great at executing plays perfectly every trip down too, but he also is extremely talented at rebounding and scoring under the rim. So you just gotta take the good with the bad when it comes to Whiteside, but he's not the trash player some people make him out to be because of these highlight mistakes.

What a horrible time to pick on the wrong guy. Whiteside was one of the best players on the court. Rest of the team, not so much.
