Kyle Kuzma has been one of the under the radar stars this season that hasn't garnered the attention he deserved. At age 26, he has finally broken out and starting to live up to the hype he got as a rookie. The biggest thing is that Kuzma has been playing aggressive all season on the boards and defense. Don't be surprised if he becomes the #1 guy on the Wizards very soon.

Kuzma's confidence is another level this season. He has been the most clutch player in the NBA this season outside of Derozan.

He’s been fantastic this year and has come up clutch in several games.

kuzma is just a winner, lakers should never have traded him. He couldve been their star once lebron retired

Good to see him do well. He was always one of the lowest IQ guys on the team while on the Lakers, hopefully he's learned to pick it up.

Glad to see him doing well. The hate he got from Lakers fans was ridiculous, especially on social media.

Ehh he’s alright, but I don’t see any real star potential there. Too much of a stiff, not very fluid.

Nope.

But he's played good recently.

Well he didnt get 10 rebounds today which was the 9th leg of my multi and the only failing leg. Judging by that metric, he sucks.

The Lakers bias in full effect - last season he was "below average" but these season he is "great"

Then you look at his numbers:


This season he is pretty much the same except he is shooting the 3 worse, turning it over a little more, 1 less offensive board per 100, he is giving 1 more assist per 100 and getting more defensive rebounds. Only positive really is the defensive rebounds. He was always a good rebounder for a wing and he no longer has to compete with LeBron, Davis, Gasol, Drummond for defensive boards.

Thats future MVP Kyle Kuzma to you.

Such a bittersweet feeling that all the former Lakers younglings have broken out.

Kuzma always got a bad rep being too Hollywood, but from what I've seen, he's never bitch about his role and such.
