Re: Friday 1/14 Game Thread
Ziaire Williams has been a revelation for the Grizzles team. Still pretty raw offensively but his athleticism and length makes him an amazing fit next to Ja.

What did he say?
Mike Breen was talking about how Steph has improved on defense and Jvg said ppl were overstating improvements. How he freelances a lot, is aggressive in passing lanes but doesn't take tough assignments. He plays well in the scheme but they have terrific defenders around him. He also clowned some media ppl who were apparently saying Steph deserved all d and Breen was like but I didn't say that lol

Yes, the Bulls should have won. Or at least kept it close. Superhuman? Huh? It was indeed wild that they won by 40+, but I only mention that with you trying to discount the loss to losing Lavine early + some other mostly irrelevant pieces. Learn how to own the loss. I sure did last night. Done talking to you.
"Mostly irrelevant pieces"
You are oblivious to the Bulls situation.
Lol, and apparently you're oblivious to the Warriors situation. Hint: Draymond and GPII are paramount to their defense, and Draymond is also paramount to their playmaking as a secondary playmaker offensively. I understand your perimeter D is **** relative to their norm and that your team is reeling right now. I also think you have/had no business as the East 1 seed regardless as the Nets/Bucks are far, far better teams at full strength. We can leave it at that.
I never said the Warriors weren't missing tons of players. I said that the Bulls losses, once you include Zach, were bigger. Again, the Bulls were only favored by 3 points BEFORE the Zach injury. You did not pull of an upset. Sorry. You're really having a hard time keeping track of a conversation.
My question is why are you so insecure when your team is so good? Your whole existence in these threads is to get mad when people suggest the Warriors aren't gods. It's like you tie self-worth to your basketball team.

Hawks can't close out 4th quarters this year. Tough loss. Good game Heat.

My contention with you is downplaying a slaughter as a minimal loss. They did not beat the Bulls, they demolished them from the outset. Zach wasn't going to change a thing.
I don't think the Warriors are title favorites, or even playing remotely good basketball right now. You're confused. Please stop responding to me dude. We can leave it at this.

Be honest. If they were who you thought they were, the Heat would have won by 20 or more.

Haha dude your first post was that the loss was "crazy embarrassing" for the Bulls, and then you citing the b2b and the players the Warriors were missing. It was just stupid to mention all those things without mentioning the heavy loss of players the Bulls had.
Also, is it so hard to not act like a child and talk trash after a game? Like, The Bulls just lost and Lavine may have been seriously injured. Don't antagonize people and then act surprised when they get annoyed with your ****.
P.S. I've never thought the Bulls were a contender or a top seed, so you're way off on that too.

Last year wasn’t a fluke and they are elite talents competing for the championship this year.
That’s what you meant right? Lol

Rest assure, I'm just annoyed the pathetic Bulls could not make it a game. Cost me $ on an in-play after getting a very good line (and make no mistake, I own that).
And yes, it was crazy embarrassing to lose by 40+ to an undermanned team who are playing .500 ball on a road b2b. You can own that or you can't. I do not care. You can have the last word, I won't be responding.

BoatsNZones wrote:ch434355 wrote:BoatsNZones wrote:A road b2b win as an undermanned team is much more telling about the team on said b2b than the opposite. This was effectively a schedule loss for Golden State. Missing their 2nd best player on top of their 2 best defenders (Klay/Wiseman missing.. whatever, that's playoff talk). It matters.
Downplay the Warriors? No. Their only embarrassing loss was to the Bucks in the past month, who themselves had two embarrassing losses to the Hornets in the past week+. I'm just happy the Warriors showed they're not relenting and are coming out swinging after a tough loss. That's what champions do.
It's a schedule loss despite the Bulls missing Lavine, Caruso, JAvnonte, DJJ, etc?
The Bulls were favored by 3 points, and that was before they knew Lavine would miss the whole game.
With Zach out, the Warriors were the favorites. Get a grip.
They won by 40+ dude, and were already on their heels with Lavine in from the outset. Wake up. I'm not here to **** on your team.
Why are you doing so then ?.
I am not sure GSW are better with Klay starting at this particular point in time btw, the starters today have played together all year and have an established pattern of play.

You are so damn odd. I can't imagine one of my teams winning and then using that as a reason to be mad online.

CP3's entire highlight reel is him crossing up centers and power forwards who switch onto him.

Glad you can say that after a game missing half our team
Everyone has missed multiple key guys for substantial time this season. After tonight's game, Chicago will have around a 1.7 SRS this season. That's just not the mark of a true contender. To give you a comparison of the championship winners over the last decade:
21: 5.6 SRS
20: 6.3 SRS
19: 5.5 SRS
18: 5.8 SRS
17: 11.4 SRS
16: 5.5 SRS
15: 10.0 SRS
14: 8.0 SRS
13: 7.0 SRS
12: 5.7 SRS
In the last 10 years, there hasn't been a team to win the chip with worse than a 5.0 SRS. Again, the Bulls have around a 1.7 SRS. Which is 5th in the East and depending on how Dallas does tonight, either 9th or 10th in the whole league.

You spent a lot of time posting that when I already said the Bulls aren't a contender. I'd have loved a 5th seed in the East going into the season.
But I get it, this is the night that Bulls haters gets to flaunt it

Luka just looks so fat and pathetic out there. 5 turnovers to 4 assists, 0-4 from 3, he has no burst at all, two of his shots already got blocked.
