I'm old school. I'm not doing that play in a close game.
It's crowd pleasing and can ignite a run but can also lead to plays like this -
It came against the same Orlando team so maybe he just wanted to make up for his previous blooper.

Another highlight ruined by camera change to under the rim. There must be 100s of them ruined by this, and it makes me mad every time i see it.

I'm not saying he's Magic Johnson, he wasn't a top option on the Lakers. Later in his career Magic was the top scorer a couple of times. I could see Lamelo leading his team in scoring a couple of times later in his career.
