After record 407 straight games w/ TO, Westbrook 0 TOs in 3/6 games

I know, I know. We’re all sick of Westbrook threads. This is the craziest thing ever, though. On January 3rd, 2022, Russell Westbrook had an absurd 9 turnovers for a record-smashing 407 consecutive game turnover streak. Since then, however, he has gone without a turnover in 3 out of 6 games.

Turnovers in EVERY SINGLE GAME for 407 games! Then three games with NONE in the matter of a couple weeks? What got into that cat?

In all seriousness, maybe he just realizes that LeBron does the same thing he does, just way better than him. But still bad synergy on that team.

I think whole thing about Westbrook never adjusting is nonsense by now. Every team he has played on he has played different style of basketball. in OKC ultra attacking mode. With Rockets SG that attacks 2ndary action from wing, with Wizards ''high usage'' make plays for literally everyone on your team and now with Lakers he has played everything in between those roles, willing to try anything.

But this exposes a lot of people here and on media who put all the blame on Westbrook turnovers and then when people like me who actually know the game of basketball pointed early on that their defense is just horrid were shouted down by people who just follow where ball swings on offense. Their offense is good enough to win most of these games but defense just means you need perfect offensive nights every night to have a chance.

Not sure how you can be mad at a professional basketball player for saying this.

His statement is like...objectively true.

He played a really good game last night actually.

Never been the biggest Westbrook fan, but seeing him dragged through the mud, even when he has a good game, is cancerous and toxic.

I never liked Westbrook, and I never liked the Lakers. I couldn't be more happy about them both sucking. More turnovers and losses to come this year. And I for one, am gonna enjoy that.
