Hell yes. Finally. This season is a wash. But just hearing Frank say that is a W for the rest of the season for me.

Lets hope this continues and WB gets put on the tightest leash there is. Nobody ever told this fool about his crap play. Massive respect to Frank for saying what he said. Now bench Melos ass as well and we might be able to have some bright spots at the end of the season.

I hope WB took it personal and refuses to play. It'll be like christmas for me.

second best for me is him being moved to the banch and playing 20-25 minutes a game. If he plays well enough he can finish games.

It actually might be a good thing for WB. Those benchings saved Melo’s career by humbling him and teaching him that he had to play team ball. Might do the same for him.

Westbrook been solid in clutch time anyway, despite bad takes on this board. Last 5 minutes he averages 55% shooting 0.7 assists and 0.2 turnovers per game when game is close. In last 3 it's 50%, 0.5 assists and 0.2 turnovers. Westbrook's TS% in the last 5 minutes of the clutch time is nearly 60%.

Lebron averages 43% shooting and 0.6 assists and 0.3 turnovers. Last 3 he is at 44% FG, 0.5 assists and 0.2 turnovers.

clutch stats are fake and irrelevant. westbrook has been playing poorly enough this season that situational benching should absolutely be on the table, and if it is not, then not even the best coach would be able to optimize this roster.

Mainly because it’s impossible to watch him play and rationally think that.

They were already down 7 when he went out and he was shooting a classic Russ line sub 30%

It’s hard to know what is worse with Russ, the shooting or the decision making.

Cherry picking a few stats when it is blindingly obvious he is hurting the team is just silly.
