Game is still in progress, so I don’t know what his final numbers will be. But regardless of what they will be, this will be his fifth straight 30 point game. In each of those games, he has hit at least five three pointers, and in three of those, he shot 60% from that area.

I don’t know if he will win it, but Trent has to be in the conversation for most improved player of the year. He’s done a great job being a reliable and steady 3 and D player for Toronto. Kudos to them for being able to nab him from Portland. Toronto fans have very good reason to be excited for the future with some of the young core pieces they have.

Masai gets another gem. He’s playing really well recently. I do think his defense is overrated though.

He was scoring on good defenders too. Very nice effort.

He's been way better on defense this year too. 4th in steals and 5th in deflections.

Great to see that trade working out for both teams. Norm numbers has been stellar this year.

His defence at the start of the season made me happy with the trade. Seeing his offence now has me ecstatic. He’s shown spurts in the past but consistency has been an issue offensively. He has more 30+ games in this 5 game stretch than he does in the rest of his career (4). Hopefully this is a sign of more to come. Also doesn’t turn the ball over much. Next evolution in his game needs to be playmaking but he’s shown a little improvement there so far

Norm's been good in Portland...but Gary's had a direct contribution to winning...and he's like 5 years younger.

I'll always have a soft spot for Norm but gotta say...we do love how well Gary's been playing.

Did Portland really need to make that trade last season?

Not really sure how he's overrated. Nobody is clamouring for him to make an all defensive team.

You could tell in the bubble that he was going to become a dynamic offensive player. Made a lot of big shots and it carried over. Love watching this guy cook

Blazers have Norm locked up to a cheaper and longer contract. Gary has more upside, but he's going to cost a lot of money after next season if he keeps getting better.

Blazers have Norm locked up to a cheaper and longer contract. Gary has more upside, but he's going to cost a lot of money after next season if he keeps getting better.

I'd have no problem paying a guy who's younger, has more upside and is putting up essentially identical numbers to a guy 5 years older.

Norm's killing it in Portland but ya...Gary would be doing the same in Portland.

Raps look good in general
