Hilarious. Classic interview.

Noah got a lot of hate at the time, but he was speaking FACTS.

I mean yeah, Cleveland isn't great, but is Chicago really either? It's a lot bigger, I'll give it that, but it seems to suffer from the same issues Cleveland does.

I'd say with a lot of confidence that Chicago's nightlife, restaurants, museums, shopping, and tourist attractions are all better than Cleveland.

Yes, there is crime, but overall, I feel pretty safe downtown Chicago.

Uh yeah, Denver sucks so much that housing prices are about 2x what they are in Chicago. Which tends to happen when people want to move to a place.

Folks from the middle of nowhere talking down on world class cities, I can't deal. Folks don't even know what a Denver is to rank it in top cities in the world

Mostly crime. For whatever reason (and I know the major reasons, mostly economy based) those rust belt cities suffer from a lot of it.

If Chicago is such a world class city and Denver is a some middle of the nowhere place, why is the average home in Chicago about 330k and 590k in Denver? Last I heard, we all use the same currency.

People tend to vote with their wallets.

You're talking about home prices when we make forbes lists:

You'll never see Denver ranked on any top 20 list of GLOBAL cities from any reputable sources. And I lowered the bar to 20 for you because you're Denver, you get graded on a curve.

Yes, because real estate prices are actually market driven. As compared to, uh, this:

Why it’s great: “Faced with the difficulties of the past year, Chicagoans came together to share food, support out-of-work musicians and protest injustice—it’s why we also got high marks for ‘community spirit’ and being ‘friendly’ (though maybe you can just chalk that up to Midwestern charm),” says Zach Long with Time Out Chicago.

Ohh, high marks for "community spirit." I mean, aside from all the rampant crime and everything.

You read about a city getting high marks for community spirit and being friendly and think that's a bad thing.

Guess community spirit and friendliness aren't qualities people from Denver value.

Interesting how qualities like "community spirit" and "friendliness" manifest itself in a massive violent crime rate.
