It’s pretty unclear on why he wanted to leave the Nets. First they said he was frustrated with the Kyrie situation. Another report came out saying that wasn’t true. Another report said he was upset at the Nets organization. Upset about what? What exactly was his reasons for leaving?

Hard to tell really. Probably won't know until later if we ever do. It could be James being James, or maybe he just didn't like Nash. Maybe he realized the roster outside of those 3 are complete buns? Lots of factors to consider. I know at one point he was complaining about taxes lol.

He clearly didn't like playing with Kyrie at all. To the point where he was more willing to pass the ball to role players than him.

I mean it's pretty clear he was upset with the Kyrie situation, and since KD is basically the GM and more in favor of Kyrie, Harden's opinion was considered the third wheel and he didn't accept that. Superstars want to be valued, and the Nets failed to do so with Harden.

I think it's clearly this. Two ball-pounders who like to dribble the air out of the rock on each possession don't tend to get along well on the court.

That's pretty much the Brooklyn Nets in a nutshell.

Maybe Durant thinks differently now of his former teammates in Golden State. Has to be incredible to go from respected veteran pros to mental cases like Irving, Harden and Simmons. You appreciate what you had when you lose it..

He loves Morey more than he does the snake.

I wish someone would Instagram live when Harden and Morey see each other for the first time since this trade was completed and they both have big smiles on their face and bring it in for a long loving hug. Such a beautiful moment should be captured on camera, these 2 are meant to be together forever <3

Wouldn't you rather play with the guy who is in MVP contention and a decent if limited coach over two guys who play like half the games and a coach with no idea?

He wants to win, not carry the entire load on a team where 2 superstars can't/won't get on the court.

i feel like we might've missed out on watching the greatest trio of all time. but that all went away when harden's hamstring died last playoffs.
