This happened in a game tonight between Clemson and Duke.





Clearly no intent on the ball. This play is as malicious & dangerous as it gets.
IMO Collins should be suspended for the rest of the season, if not banned. He literally could've killed Moore.

Thoughts? What kind of punishment should Collins face for his actions?

Read your post before seeing the play and thought it was going to be a big time overreaction on your part to call for something as extreme as suspending a kid for the rest of the season for an in game foul.... BUT you might be right. Deserves at least 10 games for that its the type of play that could have paralyzed someone. Zero play on the ball just a high speed frustration shove... no place for that in basketball. Lucky he didn't break the kid's back.

Same, I was fully prepared to come in with the “today’s game is soft” takes but that might be the most dangerous play I’ve ever seen in a basketball game. That Clemson kid is a punk.

when people lived in more tight knit societies, there was certainly more of an element of self policing of bad behavior among the community. as digital communities have come to replace physical communities as the most common forum of human interaction, it was only a matter of time before we saw this form of self policing manifested in a digital fashion. some people call it the cancel culture. I think those people are afraid of the consequences of their own actions
