I don’t think enjoying his off time and his choking on court performances during important game are related. He just doesn’t have that dog in him.

Would be a bigger issue if this was the night before the game and then he got shut down by Kyrie... On his day off after the game though? Can't say it inspires the most confidence in his commitment to winning it all, but it's also unfair to expect these dudes to be robots...

Hopefully nobody died at this event.

As a person who hates watching James Harden play basketball, I have no idea what’s bad about him going out after his work day is over.

Meh. Plenty of legit reasons to criticize Harden but him at a party isn't one of them

What is the expected behavior for an NBA player after a bad loss?

Are they supposed to spend the whole night in the gym, or is wallowing in the sadness of defeat in the privacy of their own homes acceptable?

you go home at 4am and sleep till 1pm, go get some work in watch film, then go to the arena. partying isnt hurting his game, maybe his focus, but not his game. i think hes getting too old for this on a regular basis though.

James Harden is always at the club.

It's none of my business what players do after work.

Jordan was a maniac who kept people up then was busting everyones ass acting like he'd slept for 8 hours lol.

The highlight is only on Harden because it's well known that he's not professional. This video means nothing, it's just his job. From another perspective he's being compared to players that treat it like more than a job, this is a league where Embiid once came under fire for drinking too many milkshakes, and this is a 7ft dude that plays Tennis in the middle of the night and runs home after practice.

The expectations on these people can be ridiculous, at the same time they bring it upon themselves with the PR about themselves.

I share similar sentiments as others in this thread. In fact, I dislike him very much and wish him continued failure on the basketball court for no apparent reason. However, I'm having difficulty to justify more animosity towards him based on this. If it was before the game or during a playoff series I might find a reason to hate though lol.
