Keegan Murray is playing himself into a top-5 pick. Maybe 6th at the latest. Kid is really good and he’s a versatile stretch-4 who plays D; that is really valuable in today’s game. Will be able to contribute right away at the next level.

I know nothing about NCAA or how it works, but will keep an eye on Arizona and our boy Ažuolas. Chet is in this thing too, right? I just yesterday found out Emoni Bates is now in college, and apparently he sucks? That kid was hyped to be next great thing, what happened?

Yea Bates was definitely overrated. He’s had a rough season for Memphis. He’s really skinny and I think the physicality of the college game has given him a hard time.
His teammate Jalen Duren is the much better prospect, and is projected to be a lottery pick this year. Some have him going top-7, and it’s easy to see why.

I am notoriously ignorant about the college game, really don't pay much attention until the tourney starts. Who are the top handful of players to watch out for (either very good and/or very exciting) and what teams do they play for? I need to plan what I'm going to watch.

1. Chet Holmgren — Gonzaga
2. Jabari Smith — Auburn
3. Paulo Balonchero — Duke
4. Jaden Ivey — Purdue
5. Keegan Murray — Iowa
6. AJ Griffin — Duke
7. Johnny Davis — Wisconsin
8. Bennedict Mathurin — Arizona
9. Jalen Duren — Memphis
10. TyTy Washington — Kentucky
11. Tari Eason — LSU
I watch a lot of college hoops and those are the big names in the tournament. All projected lottery picks, and honestly those might be the top-11 picks in the draft right there.

Awesome thanks! I didn't expect to get such a good answer so I appreciate it.

Re: March Madness discussion, NBA prospects and potential bracket challenge
Ive been watching as much of the Conference Tournament's that i could and came out a big fan of Keegan Murray.
Such a pure shooter but also plays inside as well. He also gets after it defensively. The downfall is his age but damn he's smooth at 6'8 225lbs.

Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

I've got a prospect crush on Murray. He looks like OG Anunoby (NBA version, not college version) but with more physical play/better at absorbing contact.

Re: March Madness discussion, NBA prospects and potential bracket challenge
If I can plug my own site...everyone from my top 15 from my last mock (other than Shaedon Sharpe) is in the tourney, which is pretty cool. Seems like it's been a while since that has happened.

I'm still shocked the Vols won the SEC championship. It's been 43 years lol.

Basically Emoni Bates is just a clone Ziaire Williams.
If he was eligible to enter the draft some team might actually waste a 1st round pick on him.

That’s great. I’ve gone twice, but only for the first weekend. Now I’m going to date myself a bit….
First time I went I ditched school junior year of high school to cheer on my DePaul Blue Demons. Got to see the greastest game I’ve ever seen in person when Rod Strickland and DePaul beat Mark Jackson and St.John’s in the 2nd round. DePaul down 3 on the line, made the first and then missed the 2nd on purpose and it actually worked…Kevin Edwards got the rebound and laid it in to send it to OT.
2nd time I got to see a few guys named Grant Hill, Jason Kidd and Bobby Hurley.
Nothing more fun than going to tourney games for a weekend, especially when you are young. Now the thought of spending all that time at the arena instead of my couch sounds horrific.
