Anthony Davis: The Suns know they got lucky last year with my injury.

Post#1 » by OkcSinceSGA » Mon Mar 14, 2022 12:24 am

Ever so slightly paraphrased, but this is basically what he’s saying. Considering he’s injured every other game, do you guys believe him?

AD gets injured almost as often as I post stupid **** on the forum.

Can you imagine what Kobe would say about a guy like Davis? The phrase SOFT AS CHARMIN comes to mind. Aint nobody scared of AD.

Win something on your own dude.
Build mindset, winning mentality.
Excuses aren't acceptable for a supposed star player. You are injured every season.
You won a ring in the bubble as a supporting star.
You went from the best PF in the league 5 years ago, to a fringe top20 player today.

Wth is wrong with Lakers players? You suck. Just own it, try to improve.
Messi. Jordan. Ali. Bolt. Senna. Serena. Karelin. Phelps. Rossi. Suleymanoglou. The GOATs.

Injuries are part of the game, AD just excels at it.

I guess AD forgot CP3 was playing with 1 arm the 1st half of the series.

I actually would love to see the Lakers play the Suns again this year.

Either LA pulls off a universal level upset, or (most probably) Lebron and AD get another taste of that humble pie they so desperately need.

I don't like either Lebron or AD. Not sure if I mentioned that.

A lot of the NBA has been "lucky" with AD's injuries. Why just pick on the Suns?

This guy ranks as one of the major disappointments I've ever had since I started following basketball, back in 1991.

I just thought he would be an awesome, all-time talent when he came out from college.

He's often injured, and now seems like he doesn't care as a competitor.

I'll tell you what, he didn't deserve to get in that top 75 list either.

Overrated.

Because they’re playing the Suns tonight and he was literally and specifically asked about the Suns playoff series last year.

I get the semantics... I just don't like the talk from him, who is oft injured.

Lol So, why did they get “lucky” with a 55-12 win season this year and the Lakers still are where?

Maybe the Lakers got lucky with that Bubblegum championship. AD know it and we all know it.

Given that AD give up injuries like Oprah gives away cars I wouldn't say the Suns got away with one here.

You know players of yesteryear like TD,KG,Dirk, etc wouldn’t talk like this. Davis would never be on their level.
