His accumulations are wild. For reference:

30k points (36.7k) puts him at 3rd between Karl Malone and Kobe Bryant on the all time list.

10k assists puts him at 7th between Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson on the all time list.

10k rebounds puts him at 43rd between Zac Randolph and Shawn Marion on the all time list

I'm very fortunate to have witnessed the career of the 2nd best player of all time. Truly remarkable how much of a machine he's been his whole career.

It is amazing, these records feel close to untouchable.

just to add, of all the players with 10k+ assists, chris paul is the only one with more than 20,000 points. he has a little less than 21,000.

I mean, everyone knew years ago he was going to go down as the best career totals guy of all time. That’s not meant to be an insult, either. Longevity, durability and extreme outlier talent.

Nobody knew he would still be this productive at 37. Him breaking the scoring record wasn't a given. Now, pending a career ending injury, it's pretty much a given he will breaking the career total point record.

Break the scoring record and playing with his son are probably the two big objectives remaining aside from obviously putting himself in the best situation to win another championship.

I'd like to see him get 40k points, not just break the record
