Simple question. Who will win the NBA championship this year?
With league being wide open this year there are about 10-12 teams that can win the title this year. Who do you think will win it?

Bucks will crank their defense up in the playoffs and repeat imo. I'm a Bucks fan so obviously biased though.
If the Nets were healthy they'd be a solid pick, but with Simmons/Kyrie at their projected availability they won't be able to advance imo.
Suns/Warriors are fine choices too but I think healthy Bucks win in 6 or 7.

I'm going Nets.
The children that lead that team need to feel the Twitterverse is against them and it seems like they finally found that reason to play basketball seriously at the right time.

No1 has an answer for Giannis in the playoffs except for the Raptors.
Bucks winning the chip, no game going 7

Rooting for the Sixers because I'm an Embiid fan.
But I think the Suns are the logical pick.

Out west I got Denver nuggets if they get MPJ and Jamal Murray back in time for the playoffs.

Ah, what the hell. I'm voting Celtics. Tatum and Brown put it all together and go on an historic tear.

I'm picking the Suns. I think they're really really good when healthy and after losing in the finals will have a chip on their shoulder, but also a lot of poise that they gained from last year's experience.

Really? Joel Embiid says hi. Drummond says hi. Al Horford says hi. Joel Embiid is laughing in your face reading this post.

What a pointless statement.Every Finals team had elite role players[/quote]

As a Warriors fan, I say the Bucks are going to win the chip.

The Valley
The Greatest of All Time debate in basketball is essentially who has the greatest basketball resume of the player who has the best highlights instead of who is the best player

Re: Simple question. Who will win the NBA championship this year?
if the nets weren't the 8th seed, i would picked them easily. KD is the best player in the league and Kyrie is maybe the best 2nd option.
However, as the 8th seed, they just ahve too hard of a path to get to the finals
I'm going to pick the Warriors assuming Draymond is healthy

Re: Simple question. Who will win the NBA championship this year?
Considering how dominant Suns have been it would be real downer for them not to win it now. Next year will be too late. But you never know how healthy Paul is in the playoffs.

If the Warriors are healthy they win.
Ayton can shoot over Looney.
Wiseman is still raw as hell and will make all sorts of mistakes but Ayton can't shoot over Wiseman.
Ayton is still young. Can Ayton play one way vs Looney and another way vs Wiseman?
Warriors looked like crap until Draymond came back. I don't think any team has shown that that they can beat the Warriors the way the Warriors played the 1st quarter of the season but can the Warriors get back to playing the way they played the 1st quarter of the season. Klay has not shot that well but Klay has been taking bad shots because Draymond was not arround to get Klay good shots. Moody and Kuminga and Wiseman are now playable and therefore are additions to the 1st quarter season Warriors if the 1st quarter season Warriors can reapear.
Some of the other teams like Memphis have improved since the 1st quarter season. Don't expect the Warriors to sweep the Jazz or Nuggets or Suns or Grizzlies or Bucks or Nets but the Warriors will win all the 7 game series.

I voted for the Grizzlies because why the heck not
