Lmao dude I swear I turned the game off right before the comeback at the 4th. I had no idea Russ made a game tying shot and we ended up winning until just now. I’m happy for Russ but I’m not going to get my hopes up just yet. Gotta give him props on that shot though.

lol the was the flukiest shot ever. He took another shot before that went of the side board, one ugly shot. Russ is going to be the next guy to get 10k assists and rebounds though. He's not that far if he can play another 5-6 years.

Well, yea, if bad misses get to you, your confidence is going to be bouncing around. If you know that you can make shots, then whatever, you miss badly, you miss, happens, I know that I can make shots, can't dwell on it.

I've never seen any player, let alone one of his caliber consistently miss shots in such a spectacular and extraordinary fashion.

He's gotta be going cross-eyed or something out there on the court.

The criticism he's endured this season has been grotesque. I'm happy that he got this moment.

LOL
Dude lets everything bother him let's be real.
Good on him for making a big shot tonight though. That's how you silence the critics.

I mean hey, if I became an MVP in the best league in the world for basketball I'd probably be overly confident too.

The Russ lowlights and trash talk is funny sometimes but to be honest I'm glad to see him play well and hope this becomes a turning point for his season.

Ya I saw Lebron's made 3s and Russ's miss on the side of the backboard. We were down at that point and I thought it was over haha

westbrook is least of their worries. looks like legm has finally figured him out.
just give russ the ball to get his 10 assists, lebron needs to take 30 shots with no AD as off ball shooter.
you cant lose against rebuilding team like raptors when scottie is a number 1 option.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

same here.. ha ha. when I checked back on the score, i was surprised that it was in OT and the lakers up by 2.. :o

anyway, not really sure what to feel about that made shot by Russ.. i'm thinking he'll use this as fuel in future games to keep taking bad shots.. better outcome would have been for another laker to have made that shot..

it's been a bitter year for me watching westbrook

i'm laying the blame at whoever's idea this was. if lebron wanted westbrook or if westbrook initiated the convo i'd like to have been the fly in the room on that meeting. they had to have discussed roles.

bad on russ is he thought he could change for lebron and bad on lebron if he did the convincing.

anyway, the thing that has dissappointed me the most is russ unraveling. it's not like him. otoh,,,so has lebron and it's not like HIM either. sad about russ, but happy that lebron has to eat sh**

8-18 is being considered some kind of superhuman night by Westbrook?

Westbrook has always made some clutch 3s. One can probably make 15 min highlight reel of those. I swear during 2017 he had like 15+ clutch 3s in last 30s or so.

And isn't confidence a good thing. He could be Ben Simmons and pouting at home because people are mean to him, but he tries to ignore critics and play his own game.

You take the good with the bad with Westbrook.

Only problem is that the bad has been overwhelming the good these past couple of seasons.
