it's interesting because I was curious about his background because when he was on the Grizz Chris Vernon said "he could be a total private school prick but he's actually really nice"
His wikipedia page is just littered the tons of flagrant fouls he's committed in his college and NBA career, it's actually kind of absurd. He might legitimately be a dirty player.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grayson_AllenI mean just ctrl + f foul on that page.
Here are a few excerpts
"Allen was assessed a flagrant-one foul after he tripped Louisville forward Ray Spalding. Commentators said the move appeared to be intentional, as Allen stuck out his leg while on the ground as Spalding was hopping over him"
"On February 25, in the closing seconds of a 15-point win against Florida State, Allen tripped opposing guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes.[14] A day later, Allen received a reprimand from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for his second tripping incident in less than a month."
"Prior to the start of the season, Allen stated that he was ready to put the previous season's tripping incidents behind him.[32] However, on December 21, he tripped Elon's Steven Santa Ana and was charged with a technical foul.[33][34] The next day, Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski suspended Allen from the team indefinitely. "
"On March 9, 2018, Allen was assessed a flagrant-one foul in the ACC Tournament for tripping North Carolina's Garrison Brooks with what was called a "hip check."
"On July 11, he was ejected from an NBA Summer League game between the Grizzlies and the Boston Celtics after committing back-to-back flagrant fouls that were described by commentators as "cheap shots"."
he has a history of this going back to college, he is legitimately a scumbag dirty player through and through it seems.
