I honestly forgot he even played for the Wizards.

He did broke their triple double franchise record, for being there for a year. He of course also had 50.9TS%, its was kind off Westbrook season 101.

With all the heat has been taking in LA I would assume he appreciated the DC fans and would do his best to get the wiz a W.

I mean he did in one year with the Wizards what John Wall couldn’t do ever so..

Wall had them literally 1 or 2 games from the ecf in 3 of 4 years but no one seems to remember that and thinks that him and Beal are career lottery players

Wish he just stayed in DC to be honest. He had it good here. He probably low key wishes he was still playing for DC too, or maybe not because there is no place like home.

Keeping my fingers, toes and everything else in between crossed for a Westbrook-Beal swap in the summer.

I think Westbrook fit in well there and he'd be in a far better place professionally had the Lakers not acquired him.

But honestly.....all the wiz fans like

Not surprising. Westbrook is well liked and well respected by his teammates and communities he involves himself with. People get too involved in the petty stuff to see that big picture.

That one year he did put on a hell of a show down the stretch. He went completely bonkers the last month or so and it was a fun and memorable finish.

I've never been a big fan of his game but I was calling for the Wall-Westbrook trade weeks before it happened and he did all I was hoping for and more during his year in DC. Serious heart and serious motor. He earned my respect.

The passing showcase he put on at the end of the season was uncanny. Haven't seen that kind of passing festive since Stockton days I guess. Almost every game 15+ assists.
