Any Recent Players Sign a "Scottie Pippen" Contract?

Many of us know that in 1991 Pippen signed one of the worst contracts in the NBA. A five-year 18 million dollar deal that he played under much of his prime years.
There are many players that have been way OVERPAID in free agency. Especially since the newest CBA, TV deals, and drastic cap increases.
Who are some players that have played on drastically UNDERPAID contracts? What were the circumstances. Please no rookie-scale contracts.

Not to the extent of pippen, but here are some names that come to mind as underpaid:
Seth Curry (8/yr), Reggie Jackson (10/yr), Zubac (7.5/yr), Jarrett Allen (20/yr), D. Murray (15/yr)

Jose Alvarado just signed a 4 year deal for about a penny over the minimum with a team option in the last year, for whatever reason.

Considering how well he's played this year, 15 Million for Dejounte Murray is an absolute steal.

Most obvious would be Steph Curry. One of the biggest reasons that the Warriors were able to build their dynasty was due to his second contract being massively under value. 4 year, 44 mil until 2016-17.

Rondo made 9-10M during his best seasons w/ the Celtics. That's probably inflation-equivalent to DeJounte Murray's deal.
Curry is probably the closest we get to Scottie among modern players.

MJ? 8-year $25M and actually made less career $ than Pippen...

the problem is the markets so set now. you can get discounts if they improve only. no player is gonna sign on a discount. The way high draft picks get money right out the gate prevents this. most discount players are second rounders who become elite like jokic and fvv but even that only lasts for a couple seasons then you gotta pay

A lot of the legit superstars are underpaid IMO. Giannis, LeBron, Curry, Durant, Jokic, etc. should be getting paid closer to 100M a year than 50M a year. The salary cap really screws the true star players. Think this has been the case since a salary cap has been implemented.

Marcus Morris signed a 4 year deal in 2015 @ 5 mil a year and had some solid seasons.

We should all dream of being "screwed" so badly we only make mid-8 figures instead of 9.

He took that deal because the Suns promised they wouldn't trade him or his brother, eventually they retracted that and did separate them.

lol Jarrett Allen is not underpaid. When that extension was offered it was borderline an overpay and he hadn't proven anything other than showing to be a solid shot blocker and starter center.

Why didn't Pippen force a trade, or refuse to report to the team? Sounds he needs to learn from Ben Simmons/James Harden.

He was close to being traded a number of times. There was the famous deal with the SuperSonics for Kemp that fell apart. There was another one where he would've been traded to the Suns for something centered around Dan Majerle. He also almost got traded multiple times in 1997 as well. A lot of the issues between Pippen and the Bulls front office was centered around his pay.
