OKC is literally starting 2 guys they just signed on 10-day contracts, while sitting Poku who played well last game (for no actual reason)

Portland has like 8 guys "injured" all of them happen to be their best players

Don't hate the player, hate the game. You give every incentive for teams to tank in order to get stars- this is what you're going to get, especially in small markets like OKC.

I wish the Knicks had the balls to do it.

Probably were g-league games this year with a more interesting starting lineup on both sides.

OKC won a meaningless game on a Muscala 3 last year at the end of the season that cost them ping pong balls. Anyone remember that game? No. But I remember that they picked 6th.

It's horrendous but league addressed it IMO the best way they could with the odds changing.

League cant fix every ill.

When there are multiple teams with superstars, there's bound to be some crappy teams.

my team dodges the whole issue by avoiding taking draft talent altogether. i don't root for them because I think they're well run.
OKC is a dumpster fire lol, they aren't hard to spot from my time spent rooting for one

I'd imagine the owners dislike this with their big and disgraceful pushing of gambling.

Anyway this is all due to the draft. It should have been abolished years ago, along with the rookie scale. Every person should enter the NBA as an unrestricted free agent.

With the soft cap and luxury tax there is no reason to worry about every rookie signing in NY/LA.
