'and' here means 'in addition to,' so they are not making a statement of equivalence.

Some context to this tweet (from 2020) is that the league used to have far, far fewer teams/players until the 80s. Lebron has probably already played with around the same percentage (more teams/players/2 way contracts now then when VC started)..

Unlike Haslem, Vince actually has some career numbers to support his candidacy. 19th All-Time in points scored, the only other top 30 All-Time scorer not on the list is Alex English. 27th All-Time in career Value Over Replacement, the only other top 30 guy not on the list is Pau Gasol. 40th All-Time in Win Shares, 15th in minutes played, 6th in 3 point field goals made.

Nope, when talking about Top 50 / HOF / what have you, longevity pertains to high-quality seasons.

Playing 22 seasons, while impressive, shouldn't get you there when only 2 were all-nba level ones.

If they are not removing any existing top 25, top 50, it is becoming more and more difficult. It was much easier to get into top 25 in 25 years or top 50 in 50 years.

VC was averaging 15 minutes per game as a 43 year old in his final season. Haslem averaged like 30 minutes per season in the last 3 seasons.
