You can believe me or not, but Tatum is a superstar, and top 3 player in NBA. I personally would pick him over anyone, including over players like Doncic.

Tatum has turned his defense in the playoffs up to crazy levels. He wasn’t this caliber defensive player in the regular season, nor is any other number 1 offensive option in the game. But in the games that matter, man is he a monster on both ends. I find his defense on Durant just as incredible as him carrying the offense for long stretches. Never seen Durant clamped like this, and if you watch the games, Tatum’s the main catalyst in the take out Durant game plan. Ime deserves a ton of credit, but the individually great defense of several guys in the rotation has helped the “make the role players beat us” game plan work to perfection.

With that being said, it's clear that Tatum is taking the torch but the wins are team wins, there's no individual nonsense here.

Funny Tatum didn’t have anyone on his roster last year having to play with Jabari Parker, Romeo Langford, Aaron Nesmith, and Evan Fournier playing heavy minutes and without brown against the Nets big 3 of Kyrie, harden, and Durant but at least Tatum came away dropping 50 in a W and 40 the next game.

Roles reversed with this season with Brooklyn still having a nice team and the odds being only slightly in Celtics favor but now Tatum is kicking KD’s ass badly.

Perhaps, but shooting 45% isn't exactly shooting poorly either.

To be fair at least one or two of those were late game stat padding.

There’s nothing not to like about Tatum , dude could easily go down as one of the GOAT Celtics when it’s all said and done.
