They should be back to contender form with some tweaks. Get some equality bigs and a better coach. The Celts ate their food in the paint.

Try to keep 2 of Mills, Dragic, and Brown.

the nets are waning

if anyone thinks it'll get BETTER he's delusional!

kd and kyrie are past their peak so they won't be getting better which they have to do.

and that's all one has to know

KD and Kyrie didn't look very good overall. Major disappointment. They shouldn't have traded Harden. It would have been better to keep him and let him leave in the offseason.

The problem is their leaders are 'lead by example' types and they set a HORRIBLE example.

needs a leader on the team, needs to play defense, no true playmaker...there is a lot of problem with the nets team.

Simmons' D and passing would theoretically be great for this team. Who knows if he'll even play, though. And when you have both Simmons and Kyrie on your team, you never know where the team's collective head is at. If you're a free agent do you even want to risk going into this weird locker room? I suppose if you plan on writing a tell-all book....

This is why I think they should make Durant, Irving, and Simmons co-player-coaches. Absurd? Unprecedented? Absolutely. But you have these three talented players locked up and you have to do something with them. This would give them the greatest possible opportunity to buy in and focus. Is there a 97% chance it fails spectacularly? Certainly. But what else are you going to do? At least provide some entertainment.

So are the Rockets still only going to get worthless late first round picks from 22-27 from the Nets?

BRK could be in big trouble, for the rest of the decade. Will Irving opt out and walk? I have no idea. KD is getting older-still a top 10 player but Tatum looked better this series. Who knows with Simmons, and they have no assets/picks/cap space to improve.

They should be built like the Pelicans. Put a bunch of young defenders and hustlers around KD.

Celtics are a great team and could probably be the championship favourites.

I think Nets should get a new coach though.

Rising, getting Simmons back next year. And a chance to practice as an NBA team before the playoffs.

Good thing NYC's new mayor revoked the vaccine mandate. Kyrie being there was a difference maker.

I would be taking draft pick offers from anybody and everybody willing to entertain. They had such a fun and upcoming team, this three year experience was great for the media but it was an extreme show of arrogance. Do what's right for your hundreds of fans and get something to look forward to for the future.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
