Kyrie Irving: “ The life of a martyr, bro.”

Post#1 » by iLLmatic860 » Thu May 5, 2022 3:06 pm

Flat earther irving playing victim once again

Kyrie Irving, while admitting he felt at times he was letting his Nets teammates down by not being able to play for parts of this season, still described himself as a “martyr” for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine despite heavy criticism.

“ I had the opportunity to play away games still, but there was no plan in place, there was no vision of how it was going to work for our team. And I think that really impacted not just me, but a lot of people. Just had to sit in that hot seat for a little bit and deal with it. The life of a martyr, bro.”

The life of making bad decisions and not being a team player, and not realizing your decisions have repercussions. What's the word... entitled.

Stop what? Even ignoring the offcourt stuff, Kyrie's oncourt value is good but not close to superstar tier or anything

LMK how many games Kyrie missed this year due to health and safety protocols (with an illness) in comparison to triple vaxxed dudes this season. I'll wait

He's easily an all star though, "borderline all star at best" is complete crap.

Nobody said superstar, but you called him a borderline all-star when he clearly played all-star level this season.

Easily one of the most overrated players of all time. Dude fall in love with his 1 on 1 game, which is amazing no doubt, but don't see the other major holes in his game. There's a reason why he's done nothing in his career without Lebron.

By the way things are going, I don't think Kyrie will play many more years in the NBA.

Seems like he will be one of those "I'll retire when it's early" kinda guys.

Just has been drifting, little by little, far, far away from the essence of the game and the profession.

Someone should tell Kyrie martyrs don’t put themselves up on the cross.

Yes, I was thinking about that same angle too.

To put things worse, imagine if he's like this to the cameras and press... imagine what he's like behind closed doors, in the day to day activities.

Actually there were reports his teammates didn't like him... I remember reading about this in a wiretap some weeks ago.

Edit: I found the link I talked about above... link.

Here's the ESPN article referenced in the wiretap article too. It says it's "insider" but somehow I can read it fully.

Stop the bull is what.

There a massive gap between not being a "supestar" if that your claims on Kyrie and "borderline allstar"
