not sure if anyone else caught that — but looks like Embiid will be the Kia NBA MVP.

Also someone will probably get fired

I'd hate working for you if you fire people over this.

Based on the number of voters who posted their ballots online, it seems pretty unlikely.

Isn’t that just part of the vote? Or are you saying the media voters posted their ballots online?

Enough of the voters posted their ballots to make a reasonable projection. It's like election polling.

This might not sound like a big deal, but there might be sports betting going on and people could lose a lot of money if the wrong info is being made public by the nba.

I think it’s a mistake, there’s no way jokic doesn’t get it, too much production I don’t care how inflated the advanced stats are for joker. Joel played all time great this year though so it’s not an easy choice

I know this board is very much pro jokic amd they will go ballistic if he doesn't win but if that really is slip preview of the mvp then I can say the nba media voters made the right call.

This board is pro-truth, not pro-Jokic.

He might be, it looks like the narrative has already started. On espn.com there's an article about how Embiid showed why he's the real MVP in Game 3, despite the fact that he went 5-12.

Is Embid's last name Kia? It is embarrassing for the league to have their awards sponsored. Not to mention that Kia builds crap cars. I still can't respect Blake Griffin for what he did at the dunk contest. He seems like such a good guy, but that stain will be forever on him.

I'd be surprised. I thought the straw poll showed strong leaning to Joker, and I thought the race was closer when the poll was taken than when the season ended tbh.

Spoiler alert, don't click on this if you want to be surprised, but here's the MVP voting we know of and someone has a very strong lead:

The Key is if they used the word KIA MVP Finalist in their edited version. Most likely it was just an editing error.
Sam Hinkie gets removed from the league for enacting a plan approved by the fanbase yet NIco Harrison and Patrick Dumont keep their job for alienating their fanbase. Make it make sense.

It would be funny if Embiid didn’t win it. Highly doubt it. I believe he should win it.
