Let's hope he is back on Monday. He is special and fun to watch. I'm praying for him

Didn't look that bad, but obviously he did something. Hopefully it's just a pulled muscle and he's gtg next game. Go figure this happens now, as opposed to the last game when MEM got 4 days off afterwards.

Things always look worse in slow motion. I dont think it was intentional, and he was much closer to swiping near the ball in real time. But in slow mo, yea, it doesn't look good.

More injury drama with this series. Im over it.

Injuries are part of the game. I know this as a Warriors fan. It's uncanny how well Morant was playing, especially without Glove there to guard him, but its good for us because now this relatively mediocre Warriors team can chill for a bit, take out Memphis in 5, and then be well-prepared for the suns and then giannis. We need a title to salve the hurt of 2019, same way kicking lebron around in the finals was medicine for 2016.

Lol. That’s some weak stuff. Crying over nothing.

I'm just curious why that wasn't called a foul lol. Poole grabbing and "pulling??" Morant's knee doesn't warrant a foul?

EDIT: NM looks like bottom ref did whistle a foul.

In all fairness. Just suspend poole for a game as well now.

Morant probably won’t play next game. Knee injury didn’t look good.

This is my thought as well. A player intentionally grabbing a knee to hurt it seems very unlikely as its not something we've really seen through NBA history and Poole doesn't seem to have priors of super physical play. Most likely just unlucky timing + slow mo.

I have never seen a player grab and pull someone's knee. Definitely don't think you can do it accidentally. Why are you pulling?

Jenkins has become quite annoying as a whiny coach fairly quickly. Especially with a dirty player like Brooks on his team...

How in the world did that hurt him?

It's a contact sport, things like that happen. Much like when Portis came down from a jump elbow first on Rob Williams face and it wasn't considered a foul.

Contact happens, nothing dirty there.

When you swipe at the ball like that, you are trying to "rip" it out. The "rip" and "pull" seem like similar movements.

Morant's making a basketball move. I don't think Poole intentionally tried to hurt him by grabbing his knee, I think Poole was going for the ball.

But Morant is trying to move one way, and the knee slightly goes the other way.

You can easily tweak your knee in that scenario.
