Definitely looks better than he did in that Mountain Dew commercial. But still has plenty of ways to go. You can still see the big difference between his Duke days and now in the shoulder definition and jaw line. I still think his Duke weight is his ideal weight and that should be the goal he and the Pels should have for him.
It seems like every time since he has left Duke, whenever there was a long gap without basketball he would put on weight. So hopefully this summer that doesnt happen and he comes into next season close to that Duke weight. Again from those pics he definitely looks much better than he did in the Mountain Dew commercials so hoping he continues the work.

It's very possible that his weight is still too much for his knees no matter if he slims down, considering how muscular he is and how unhealthy his knees have been.
At this point, most people will believe when he can stay on the floor a whole season

How can anyone make an assessment of his weight based on those pics? He still looks just as chunky to me.

Its hilarious how a majority of RealGMers associate lack of vascularity with "fat." Zion's body type wont' allow him to be vascular unless he's at an insane body fat %, which is probably counterproductive for his play/style of play.

No one is saying that - they're saying he needs to be at his 'Duke Weight'
