Injuries compromised them. They still have a window of a year or two if Embiid can stay healthy and Harden can properly reinvent himself. They may need a coaching upgrade though

I gotta figure Doc is out and Harden will have to come cheap or Morey is making a big mistake.

This team is done. Harden looks cooked out there and Joel is just a one man show who's injury prone.

Daryl Morey was the worst thing this team could have done. The steady slide to mediocrity while trading the future is here.

Morey screwed up by not trading Simmons early in the season for real help. Instead he held out for a busted trade.

Rivers out coached again and is surviving on reputation alone.

The stars don't know how to lead and perform in the playoffs.

Thank God for Maxey.
Don't re-sign Harden.
Try to trade Harris for whatever.
Fire Doc.
Get a competent coach, build around Embiid, Maxey.

thats just not morey. most gms do this to secure their own future over teams future with no job security.
the truth is most of the teams are run poorly billy king trades are far more common. the correct move was to trade a light asset for CJ and compete for a title.

its time to resummon sam hinkie and restart the process. 76ers is a perennial 2nd round team exit treadmill team.

You are really are hoping Maxey takes a huge step forward with Harden declining. He has the potential.

I think you need to keep Morey at this stage. Let him try and work this through now that he's changed as much as he has.

While I don't like either player, the Embiid/Harden combo needs a pre-season to see if they can get it done and how they can incorporate Maxey.

Nothing makes me happier than 'the process' falling flat. No hate for Philly here, just don't want that blueprint copied around the league.

I've always though Doc is overrated, ever since the Celtics days. Time to move on there.
