He’s not going anywhere. They’ll just keep bringing in superstars to see how many he can underachieve with and how many he can throw under the bus. Off to a solid start at the age of 28

The entire strategy of switching defense against the warriors goes up in smoke. it could possibly be more overpowerd than getting durant. Embiid sucks as a roll man though, so he would have to learn a lot about playing off the ball and would have to improve a lot. Durant kinda did while he was there too though.

Embiid wouldn't have to learn anything to play with the Warriors.

Embiid hasn’t been a great playoff performer during his career. Some of the that has been injuries but part of the game is having the ability to stay healthy when your team needs you must. He is like AD in that regard. I can’t remember an important playoff game where Embiid really shined.

Maybe at some point he demands a trade to the Heat to play with his boy Butler.

Well after sixers announced they will work to sign Harden multiyear and Doc is back..its not comical anymore..
Imagine they have similar play offs next year and Harden disappointing/giving up on the team again..
We are that close to this scenario becoming a reality..and the scenario is very realistic you have to admit.

His countryman Siakam could talk him to join him and get the ring.

VanVleet, OG Annouby, Boucher 1st rnd pick out
Embid in

Barnes -Siakam - Embid = NBA finals and shot to win it all 2-3times..

Giannis earned it. But come on if you don’t think a little fortunate luck helps also last year for him like KD shoes on the line. It’s a very thin line between winning and losing during championship runs.

Teams (besides the golden state KD era) are very evenly matched these days.

Embiid needs some fortunate things to happen to him to keep him healthy. Some lucky bounces will help also.

Giannis has already been to the ECF or further twice, with less help than Embiid. Jokic has been to the WCF with less help than Embiid.

If Embiid wants to be compared to these guys, he needs to step it up in the playoffs. It's that simple. He's failed to get past the second round in 5 straight playoffs now. That isn't bad luck. It's a pattern.

I love that we just want players to quit every time there is a bump in the road.

It’s the millennial mentality. Millennial athletes believe they are entitled to winning championships and if things don’t go their way, they quit.

Everyone wants a participation trophy because they tried really hard, but they can’t accept that sometimes their best is just not good enough.

It takes a little luck man. U really think if Jamal Murray didn’t go nuts in 2020 that Jokic would be in the same boat as embiid. Who’s to Jokic would have even made it to wcf in 2020 cause clippers would have had home court in a real playoff setting. And Jokic lost as 2 seed to Portland in 2019

If harden or butler or Simmons can average 36 points like Murray for nuggets to escape utah or another 26 points to escape the clippers.

Giannis failed in 2019 and 2020 as higher seed as well

Embiid team outside of 2021 when they were higher seed. Every other year they lost as lower seed.

So 4 out of 5 seeds they lost as lower seed.

Giannis lost as higher seed 2 out of the last 3 playoffs.

Giannis may not escape Boston this season in the second round.

The problem with PHI is all of the assets they've burned through around Embiid for such a flawed top of the roster.

You drafted Ben Simmons and then his value dropped to the point where you had to add value to him to get Harden, who just does not seem to be in his prime anymore. You traded for a good, not great Tobias Harris and invested huge money in him. You traded for Jimmy Butler but then let him walk for Josh Richardson who was a bad fit. You used a salary slot on Al Horford that you then had to pay a future pick to dump the contract. A spectacular fail with the Fultz pick. They turned half a decade worth of draft picks and all their cap space around Embiid into a declining Harden and a never-THAT-good Tobias Harris on massive deals.

The fact that Maxey looks like a budding star is legitimately franchise saving. If not for that, things would not be looking good in PHI. but the Maxey pick honestly saves their bacon if he can continue to grow.

What a bunch of nonsense.

He played 20 something games with Harden giving half effort.

Maxey is 20 years old and looks great but isn’t ready to bring it every night.

Harris is vastly overpaid and isn’t near an all-star. He’s the Roger Dorn of the NBA.

Simmons with all his issues and nonsense. Yeah that’s solid.

And Butler who management ran out of town after 35 games, and after he and Embiid came within a Kawhi shot that bounced around the rim like 8 times of advancing. Imagine if they had a couple more seasons together.

You can’t just list names, you have to give the context of situation. But honestly these are just petty Jokic fanboys posting this nonsense. They aren’t looking for a nuanced discussion.

He can win the title as a #2 option. He's too much of an injury prone to lead the team to promised land.

Extreme unlikelihood? It's impressive you're still that confident with how poorly we've played all playoffs and are now facing game 7 against Luka.

Could definitely see a trade here, not sure if the Suns would part with Bridges or try to package other pieces with Ayton
