Horford? Lol

LoL
Brown can hardly dribble a basketball and has the bbiq of a rock ....
Clear divide between Tatum and Brown
Brown is looked at much better then he is because his politics .

Sounds like you don't like Brown because of his politics. What an awful, ignorant take.
One day Marcus Smart will be defensive player of the year, mark my words.

durant is certainly not debatably the best player in the game, nowhere near giannis and doncic.

tatum is elite but more like top 5-6, probably a level below giannis and doncic.

no way. tatum is at least one level below the "best players in the league" category. he had 2 good games, but looking back at his playoffs so far and his season, he's not even close to be in the conversation.

Actually I like Brown just fine ... I just rather him not have the ball in his hands because of his horrible handle and bad iq ...

He is not remotely close to Tatum skill wise....

And you'll be ok

He was great but the best player in that series was clearly the dude who averaged 40-15. I don't think Tatum averages 40-15 against the Celtics defense. Conversely, I think Giannis averages 100 if George Hill and Wesley Matthews are guarding him.

I just want to toss in that Wes actually played out of his mind defensively, his fountain of youth was overshadowed by Horford's but he was impressive the whole series. I felt like he was one of the guys the Bucks should have looked to more on the perimeter offensively too, he shot 40% from 3 for the playoffs.

Probably not, but he's getting to the point where we might have to consider him for top 5. There's no shame in that. If Tatum spends his prime being the 4th or 5th best player in the league that's still a huge success.

I feel like Tatum can and will be in the top-5 and I could definitely see him leading the league in scoring easily. I don't know if he will ever be viewed as the absolute best player unless he continues to show growth in his playmaking/passing.

40 is a little generous. It was 34 a game on 51.62 TS%.

Tatum is first team all nba caliber. He is in mix with luka, embiid, Jokic, Giannis. Morant is coming.

Legacy guys? Durant, Lebron, Curry.

I'd take Jokic, Giannis, Doncic, Durant, and Curry over him for sure. Embiid is an injury waiting to happen, but when healthy he's definitely better. So I'd have him out of the top 5, but he's top 10 right now.

If he's viewed as a top 5 player, and he should start to qualify for that kind of talk, there's enough scenarios where he could be considered the best.

8 more wins, title in his 5th season at age 23 would be pretty tough to dispute.

unless Doncic pulls that off in 4 seasons.....

I'm fine with a Tatum and Doncic dominated NBA.

Stop it. This is getting ridiculous. He just averaged 28 while being bailed out most of the series by the likes of Al Horford, Marcus Smart and Grant Williams. Tatum has to consistently put it together and deliver for the C's to be a part of this conversation. He's not even close to the true upper echelon of the league.

KG was the best player on that Celtics team. Everyone knew that. Yeah Pierce had the Finals MVP, but KG was the best player. And I think most people would have said he was behind Lebron and Duncan.

Who's in the "true" upper echelon as opposed to the "false" upper echelon?

Not sure you could watch that series v Giannis and conclude he’ll be better than Giannis. It’s possible but I don’t see it.
