Another intense series for the Celtics, but I'm taking them in 6. They've been a very good road team this playoffs so HCA might not matter as much.

Plus, i imagine Tatum is itching to avenge that Bam block in the bubble. Bam's been stoking that fire by allegedly sending Tatum a pic of that block every week. I expect a monster Tatum and Brown series.

You do know they get along pretty good, probably friends off the court.

Yeah I'm aware. Doesn't mean Tatum won't be chomping at the bit to get back at Bam, and for Bam to block the living daylights out of him again. There's such a thing as being competitive

Hey Young!

Just really hoping for a good, competitive series for both teams. Heat in 6! :D

The title is now Golden State’s to lose. Can’t stand the Celtics or the Heat. That will be a boring series.

Much better for sure but Miami appears better as well. Kemba Walker replaced by Al Horford is a big time upgrade.

And Celtics outscored Milwaukee by 68 with Derrick White on the court. 6-7 games of Derrick White is better than 4 from a Gordon Hayward returning from injury.

Daniel Theis is only rotation player from that team who isn't better now. If Robert Williams is healthy, Theis won't play much.

This Celtics team has also matured. It will be a tough series since Miami is tougher to guard in the halfcourt than Milwaukee without Middleton.

Celtics in 4.
The Heat are going to be seriously outclassed and it's going to shock people how much better the Celtics are defensively than the Heat, they aren't going to be able to score.
One day Marcus Smart will be defensive player of the year, mark my words.

Yes.

Tatum is a lot better than he was in the bubble.
Brown is much better than he was in the bubble.
The Celtics' bigs are much better than what they had in the bubble.
Kemba and Hayward weren't good in the bubble ECF, even though Kemba had pretty good not long before.

Celtics in 5 unfortunately.

Bruh Miami just beat Boston in Boston right before the playoffs in an important seed determining game. Whatchu talkin bout!? It's fine Boston can be favorites, but don't make up stuff.

Raptors beat the sixers 2 times right before the playoffs

Theres no one you need to shut down on our roster, we will rotate de ball and make the right passes, if Jimmy isnt scoring he will impact in other ways. And in my opinion, our defense has more answer than Celtics

Schemes, yes.

Talent, no. If Time Lord is healthy, the defensive talent comparison isn't even close, Bam and Jimmy notwithstanding.

I don't know, Lowry and Williams health is too much important, Lowry will miss game 1, if he isn't healthy I can't see the heat winning.

I'd expect this to be a low-scoring rock fight. Both teams should struggle to score consistently.

Regular season win totals in conference finals: 53, 53, 52, 51

Probably a record for balance and at least near a record for lowest top team left.

Right, and Miami went into Boston at the end of March and beat them, interesting enough, had the Celtics been able to win that game home they'd have HCA.

I just pray everyone is healthy. Would be nice to have 85-90% of Lowry, and for Robert Williams to be back.

I'm going Cs in 6, but acknowledging my bias. And I do worry about our legs, given the short turnaround time, etc.

If Miami can force us into iso ball, our offence doesn't look as good, and teams can run on us.

The Celtics just lost Rob Williams with an injury and were trying to make it work without him with a different rotation. Which takes time. It definitely wasn't the same Boston, historically great, team that you guys faced at that moment.

Now this Celtics team has also gotten used to, to play without Rob for some time now and they've shown that against the Nets and Bucks. Grant Williams has done a solid job so far for us on the defensive end.
