Saw Devin Booker's father play a lot in college at Missouri. Really good player who was a 2nd round NBA Draft pick, surprised he didn't have a long career as a backup point guard in the league.

Everyone named already, plus two more I can think of offhand:

Mitchell Wiggins
Winston Garland

In fact, when I think of the sons, the father's name often comes to my mind first and it takes me a second to recall the son's actual name (yes, I'm old).
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

I remember Gary Payton because of the 2006 finals but any dads of current players I saw play basketball were at the very tail end of their careers.

Been watching the NBA since Bird's rookie season, so I've seen them all. I'm old.

Well, the thread title doesn't say that the father had to have played in the NBA, only that you saw the father play and the son is a current NBA player, so I guess this qualifies.

In that spirit, I'll add that I saw Rowan Barrett play at St. John's.

The Grant kids are Harvey's kids, not Horace's. They're twins though so its understandable.

Kevin Love dad Stanley played for the Bullets.

Side note I saw his uncles the Beach Boys play at the CA state fair.
