It was taken away in the third quarter.
It was the right call. All shots are reviewed. They can check if it was a 2,3 or out of bounds. He was clearly standing out. He also travelled so the right call was made.

Officiating sucked for both teams but I've never seen points retroactively wiped off the board several minutes later on an out of bounds call. I thought they just reviewed 2 or 3. Weird for it to show up in a game 7.

Charlotte missed the 7th seed becuase in their game vs. Miami in overtime they gave Lowry a three when he stepped on the line, and then refused to review it (because Miami, special rules, NBA wants them to win, etc.), so the karma is deserved

This! That was ridiculous and I've never seen that before either, only a 3 changed to a 2, but out of bounds minutes later? Get out of here...

Just because you guys don’t know the rules, doesn’t mean it’s wrong. He was out of bounds on the shot. If he was out of bounds a few steps before it wouldn’t be reviewable. As it’s on the shot, it’s reviewable and the right call.
You guys are more mad about them making the right call, than not. It’s like you’d rather the 3 count when he was clearly out of bounds. Insane

He was out of bounds. Would you like non-counting points to count?

Was he though? Not so sure, to wipe points off the board like 5 minutes of gametime later when you can't tell for sure is pretty bad.

Yes? Do you think they just pretended to look at the replay? I don't get it.

Are refs suppose to make calls based on the awareness of casual fans?

Celtics were the better team all series and everyone with eyes know it.

if you shoot 20% from 3pt overall, you don't really get to complain

Seems like they reversed a call WAY late that didn't have any conclusive evidence tbh...

Its definitely strange how late they reversed it. I've never seen that before. But as far as the call's validity, myself and it seems like most others here saw his foot land out of bounds on the replay, and the refs saw the same thing. You're the odd man out.

That wasn’t convulsive. And the number one rule of reply is there must be clear, conclusive evidence to overturn the call on the court.
Having said that, Miami missed 8 free throws, and shot 67% from the line tonight. Had Miami shot 75% from the line, and made 2 more free throws, the game is tied with 15 seconds left and instead of being down 2 they take the last shot and either win or go to overtime.

Yeh I watched it on my 60 inch TV with HD and it was as clear as day. Also, the NBA can look at all TV angles.

What do you mean? The refs didn't make the call at all.
