Were the refs the reason the Celtics lost this game?

No, they lost the game because the Warriors outplayed them on both ends.

Warriors were just better today.

Poole should've been ejected.

Refs didn’t make the Celtics turn the ball over and miss easy looks.

No, not because of the refs but they for sure had a lot of questionable calls tonight.

In the first half I though Celts got very favorable no calls on defense that kept them in the game, despite poor shooting and many turnovers. In the second half I think the warriors adjusted and benefitted from the no calls a bit, but not much impact. They were hitting shots through the contact, except for Klay.

There were several phantom calls against the Celtics in the first half.

They played so badly in the 2nd half- so they deserved to lose, but the refs certainly favored the Warriors in the first half

Nah, Celtics had plenty of chances. A lot of their offence seemed rushed.

Gotta win the third quarters or atleast draw even. That’s always been a key component to beating the Warriors. Refs were letting the Warriors slide with some contact but all in all the team with the greater sense of urgency won the game.

And even though they were outplayed, you have to factor in such losses of momentum.

It seemed clear from the get go the NBA wanted to extend this series as much as possible. Too much money left on the table otherwise.

So the refs were really bad in the 1st half, especially with letting draymond get a way with murder calling phantom calls when he ran into people or pushed off people. This team has had mental struggles when they feel they are not getting a fair whistle and I think that happend tonight. After Tatum, Grant, Horford all got BS calls and then Green didn't get ejected after he put his feet on/taunted brown I think the mental energey was sucked away and they did not play as well. Is that the refs, not really but the refs played a big role in it.

What? Lol no. The refs clearly favored the Warriors in the first half but that was totally unsurprising. Celtics turning it over as much as they did, combined with the inevitable occasional offensive explosion from the Warriors, is what lost them the game.
