Congrats to the Warriors, showing again they are the model franchise, winning a title and keeping their valuable prospects to develop for their future. The class of the NBA.

Congrats to Steph on a well earned, well deserved, and classic finals MVP against an outstanding D. The Celtics really had nothing for him, even at his age. that trophy room has to be getting cluttered.

They are the evil empire that I still want to root against though, but I wish my team would take more cues from them.

I think they're in good position. they're going to have to rely a lot upon their draft picks developing while their stars age.

Klay did not really play well (to me) this postseason compared to his younger years.

Steph really was making the engine go. He'll be 35 next year.

the positive: They have young high draft picks that can keep developing and even one that didn't even play (Wiseman). They have a ton to look forward to that those younger players can give rest and games off to their older core. Steph is aging gracefully and still a superstar.

the negative: This is a "good Problem to have," but those young high draft picks may develop and want extensions that the warriors may not be able to pay to keep the whole old core and new core together; they do have aging players and two of them are not aging well.

Hope this comes off as a compliment and not a dig but it's incredible the faith the organization and ownership put in Steph Curry, to have kept paying the tax the past 2 years to keep the dynasty alive. that just doesn't happen in sports.

it's all about timing. that block on poole. wow.

The Warriors just need to focus on developing their youth in the regular season and making sure their core is fresh and healthy come playoff time.

Wiggins is going to have to be a priority signing for them. He was one of the main reasons they one. You could argue the main reason with his defense and rebounding.

Keep em all, bring em all back, keep paying that sweet luxury tax. They're riding the best treadmill in the game.

Hope the lotto picks develop and GS develops a dynasty. Good drafting and an owner who is willing to spend while you have a super star.

Keep as is , they still should find another big with looney .

Just a nitpick, but the Warriors DIDN'T pay the luxury tax in 2019-20. The DLo/Wiggins deal was made so that it got the Warriors out of the tax.

This actually kept GS out of the repeater tax in 2020-21 - though their payroll was so high they still had a hefty tax bill. And this season they were back in the repeater tax with an extremely high tax bill. So the general idea is still true.

As long as Curry, Thompson and Green can keep this level of play, they are going to contend.

Once they age, its rebuild time unless some of their prospects makes a major leap, it probably wont happen.

This is the Spurs dynasty all over again. Great organization and at all, but when the big three is gone, the championship run is over IMO.
