***BOOM*** Isaiah Hartenstein to Knicks

Post#1 » by Hatrick Ewing » Thu Jun 30, 2022 10:35 pm

Had no idea they'd be able to get him, now the Noel trade makes way more sense.

OP, if you want to break news you have to give a source and an actual report. Like this...

The Hart break kid will be bringing some sweet chin music to the Mecca!

Nice deal for him and the Knicks.

I actually really liked Hartenstein last season. This is a sneaky good pickup by the Knicks

It's a decent pick up for the Knicks.Liked him on the Clippers this past season.

Good get.

I look forward to him being traded to the Raptors at the deadline when the Knicks do Knicks things.

This kid just had his 24th birthday and he's a legit journeyman already. 5th team so far.

A sentence you don't hear too often, but definitely true in this case. I can see Thibs him starting over Mitchell by mid-season.

Damn, lots of praise from Clips fans too.

He was on my radar as a potential pickup who could outplay what he would command. I've been advocating that the Knicks target young guys whose stats suggest they could do more with minutes for years so glad they finally got one.

Blazers need a backup C and I was kind of hoping he could be a cheap get for them. Oh well. Contracts Knicks.

Sucks to see him leave, but I'm happy he got his bag. One of the better passing bigs, has a reliable floater, decent athleticism, and is a good locker room guy. Great value signing.

Glad to see him develop into a solid NBA player. He was slowly getting better as a member of the Rockets, then they kinda just dumped him when they went all-in on the gimmicky small-ball lineup.

I like them both, but I'mma say this: Hartenstein is better than Mitchell Robinson.

Better big for Thibs' system too, at least on offense. Thibs likes dribble handoff guys more than he likes rim runners. Guys like Taj Gibson, Joakim Noah, old man KG. He'd rather put a big in the high post than the dunkers spot.
