Could the Spurs make sense? They have the cap space and positional need. Why not offer him a slightly bigger than MLE deal over 2 years, with a team option or an unguaranteed 2nd year and ship him to a contender at the deadline for a FRP and an expiring

He refuses 84x4 with LA , so now he earn minimun contracts

Dennis Schroder turned down 4 year / $84m deal, still on the free agent market likely to sign for the minimum.

Spurs make sense.

The Spurs have a glut of young guards that they want to play and if they just want to use their cap space to acquire first round picks, taking on bad contracts (like Westbrook) is a sure thing while hoping to resurrect Schroder's value so that he is worth a FRP at the deadline seems like far from a sure thing.
The only way he makes sense for the Spurs to me is as a tank commander, and as mentioned they already have a lot of young guards who can do that and are also long-term assets.

He still put up good numbers last season and will only be 29.As a Wolves fan would be more then happy to bring him into the fold as as the back up PG,Russell usually gets hurt every years and averages like 25 miss games per season so we need another option at PG then J MAC.

A bench of Schroder,Forbes,Anderson,Prince,Reid is pretty solid in my eyes plus still have JMac,Nowell and our rookie Moore.

I know people have much worse problems, but that must be a very hard pill to swallow every day- knowing that you cost yourself so much money- reminds me of Bonzi Wells and Latrell Sprewell

I agree. I’m surprised he hasn’t landed somewhere for the vet min yet… Maybe he would rather play overseas than in the NBA for the vet min?
