I love all these cryptic tweets by players as puzzle pieces for us to decipher. Now all that remains is whether Herro is a part of a KD package or perhaps a Donovan Mitchel package. Considering he probably just found out I'm guessing it won't be long until we know. NBA trade season is like sport's Christmas.

Could simply be that he knows he is being viewed as expendable even if he ultimately isn’t traded.

That would be a weird coincidence, considering his name is being out there in tons of trade rumors, which I don't believe in. But to each his own.

As long as Bam's on the team the Heat can't trade for Donovan Mitchell.

If you are referring to the designated rookie rule, you are incorrect. Each team can have 2 designated rookies, but only one of them can be had in a trade. That's the problem for Brooklyn which already has a player (Simmons) through a trade, so they can't get another (Mitchell, Bam etc).

Miami does not have that problem as they drafted Bam.

Or he could be talking about that mass shooting in Chicago that just happened ... that only family matters, nothing else.

anyone who isn't elite has to figure they may get eaten in this shark frenzy

it feels almost like teams with a purpose will make moves for the sake of making moves and EVERYONE including the bad teams want to get in on the action table.

in all honesty i think all the nba teams should make moves. staying still is stupid in these times. all teams should not be happy with what they got. there is not team that is perfect and all should edge towards being "complete". take sac and orl for instance - why shouldn't they make a trade and stir to see what it tastes like. they can't like the s*** they tasting now.

new league rule - mandatory 4player movement per team per every other year

You're incorrect. Bam is homegrown. You can have two designated contracts if at least one is homegrown, so we can send Tyler Herro to Utah for Mitchell without any issue...
