I'd bet my life savings against the Lakers winning the Championship if I got -300 even if they got Kyrie for Westbrook straight up

Boston follows them at +600

The Lakers with Kyrie I think will probably end up +600 to +650. I'm guessing that they'll settle in at 3rd at +650.

Imagine betting on the Lakers after the last two seasons.

seeing what kyrie has done so far in the last couple of seasons i would say the question should be framed as, are the lakers championship odds better or worse with kyrie?

The Lakers with Kyrie or Russell are still probably at best a 5 or 6 seed. They added much needed athleticism, but they didn’t really get anyone that helps their success level.

Their offseason so far looks like a team trying to build for the future.

If Tatum performed 75% as good as kyrie in the finals Celtics would’ve won. Kyrie thrives under lebrons leadership.
