I get taking a pay cut to try to win a title but PJ Tucker and Daniel House aren’t taking the Sixers over the top

Healthy and in shape Harden does, he's betting on himself.

Sixers won the trade. Harden is willing to help the team with cap flexibility. The Nets are stuck with Ben Simmons. It does give me flashbacks about how badly Cuban misused the discounts Dirk gave him but maybe Morey is more competent

It was the right thing to do for all parties.

Tucker is a chip piece. He has already proven that.

Lol good luck with that.
He’s also past his prime imo

Do they have room to add more players?

Not sure what else you want them to do. Got Tucker and House in FA when everyone thought they were looking at having only the tax MLE to use, added DeAnthony Melton at draft time too. Next PO they'll hope that Embiid is healthier, Harden has better mojo, and the extra toughness and shooting from those new guys can help win them an extra game in the 2nd rd. Aint that exciting but as good a move as anything.

Mad props to harden. I gave up on him when he forced his way out of Houston but hes convincing me that he actually still cares and wants to win a chip.

0/7 -16 in game 7 with Miami says otherwise

You are right. Embiid, Harden and Maxey will take them over the top.
All that Tucker, House and Melton have to do is be better than Green, Korkmaz and Milton. The big dogs will do the rest.

This isn’t a pay cut, this is what Harden is worth right now.

Dude averaged 22/10/7 on a bad hamstring.
22/10/7 is an All-Star. You know that. And he doesn’t have to be 2016-17 Harden to have an impact. He just needs to have a healthy hamstring, more time to jell with Embiid and Maxey, and a better bench. He will have all of that.
You know that, too.

The recipe for winning a championship is actually quite straightforward - to have multiple core guys on friendly contracts which they outplay (Steph, Klay, Green, KD for the peak of their dynasty), and all of those guys stay healthy.
Harden had it twice in his career - 2012 in OKC, and 2018 in HOU (Paul 25m, Ariza 7, Tucker 7, Capela rook, Luc min), and the rest of his career is all dog fight as a villain desperately looking for winning situations to get that monkey off his back. Granted his life priority is more weighted on having fun rather than a fully dedicated Kobe style career, but compared to lot of his peers like Dame or Beal, he surely puts winning ahead of money and this contract extension shows exactly that. We'll see if he gets his priority right this time and if luck is on his side, for once. Embiid, stay the f healthy please.

Good luck relying on Harden
He is what he is now
PJ Tucker was awful in parts of the playoffs so it’s not a lock he’s better then the guys you mentioned
He’s close to washed
