That one player you'd happily pay to watch if only for him. For me it has to be T-Mac.....Obvious choice.
Im just imagining watching this dude ball in his prime battling it out with Kobe. Next level stuff.

I'd like to see some of them plumbers, brick-layers, and cattlemen from bygone eras in person. That way I'd be able to tell wether JJ and everyone else who makes those wild claims is right or not....

Ray Allen, the best parts of the 2000s and 2010s put together into one player.

				JJ Redick. BWHAHAHAHA
If I had to go with one, I'd probably pick Hakeem Olajuwon. Non-stop entertainment on both sides of the ball.
Others I'd consider: Barkley, Bird, Rodman, MJ, Magic, White Chocolate, Dr. J, Iverson, VC, Kemp, Dominique

For me, absolutely no question. I'd love to see John Stockton play again.

Never seeing Michael Jordan play live in person is a big regret I have. Granted, he fully retired before I was 18 so it wasn't really up to me, but I still wish I had seen him. Glad I've seen both Kobe and LeBron play live. You'll never regret watching legends.

Chiming in with HomoSapien. Huge MJ fan as a kid. I still have a binder full of all those early 90s overprinted Upper Deck cards every year. But I grew up near St Louis, my parents were hardly sports fans and it was unthinkable to go to nearly-mythical Chicago, especially for a basketball game. I wish as a teen I'd have realized how special it would have been.

Manu was always must-watch tv for me. So creative and unpredictable; you were never quite sure what he might do, mostly for better but sometimes for worse.
Bird and Magic playing, especially against each other, is an experience I would pay quite a bit to see.

				From history?
1988 Michael Jordan.
Everyone remembers 90's Jordan and in particular late 90's Jordan but that guy was nowhere near the dynamo of 1987-88 Michael Jordan. I'd gladly pay original cast Hamilton front row ticket prices for that.

Easily MJ for me and thankfully I was able to see him play in person several times.
Why? Creativity, competitive spirit and killer instinct. The hang time and huge hands allowed him to turn a simple jump shot/layup into an entertaining play.
He was also well aware and voiced it that someone in the crowd might be seeing him play for the first and possibly only time, they might have gone to great lengths to pay for the ticket, he wanted to give them a show every night and for the most part he did.

Ray Allen for me as well. My favorite player of all time.

The best experience I've ever had live was in Key Arena when Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis were all-stars there together and the Sonics stormed back on the strength of clutch Ray Allen threes and the entire arena was chanting his name. It was epic.
I'm a huge LeBron fan but Ray Allen is also one of my all time favorites so when the Heat signed him and he hit that shot in game 6... for me it was like basketball bliss.

I saw MJ play live and would gladly pay to see him play again. Hell I'd pay to watch him shoot hoops in an empty gym at his current age,

I'd pay to see Giannis, Luka, KD or Steph in person.
