i think its contract divorce in that shes not owed the rest of her deal. Ive been watching her for almost ten years, and i was chalking her body language and outbursts and emotional spells as just being a moody female, but I will be surprised if she can regain her previous form. stats are garbage, no hustle, either overreacts or doesnt care at all when she does something wrong. literally all she wants to do is set hard screens, commit flagrants and blame teammates when she bricks shots.

There are probably numerous teams in the W that wouldnt sign her at this point. She also been playing trash and is obviously not in a mental state to play rn.

It's essentially a buyout.

Cambage and the LA Sparks (WNBA) both agreed to terminate her contract. She's a very talented player but a headcase. Created controversy, didn't get along with teammates, complained and didn't play hard. She basically decided to quit in the middle of the season and the team said that's cool with us too. Derek Fisher looks pretty bad in this story as well.

Can't believe the patience of the teams who put up with her egostical toxicity so far, and the Sparks giving her a contract after that heinously bigoted violent behaviour vs Nigeria in the run up to the Olympics.

She doesn't seem like a pleasant person.

Not sure there's much in this world that pleases Liz these days.

You're wayy to sensitive. Admittedly I don't know much about Liz and Nigeria/Australia, but this isn't even that bad, (aside from racial slur) especially when we hear far worse in the NBA.

But TBH I don't care about Liz, I just think it's not that deep.

If an NBA player did what Liz did there would be riots.

Plays a practice match against Nigeria. I can't remember the exact order of events but it was something like

Liz gets very physical and elbows a player.

Liz gets physical again and slaps a Nigerian player on the face.

Liz walks away

Slapped player closed fist decks Cambage to the ground *must quote Shaq's "If you hit me don't turn around cause I'm swinging"

Cambage gets off the floor and tells them to go back to their third world country and calls them monkeys.

All this confirmed from players from both teams.

Cambage father is Nigerian. But obviously she doesn't see herself that way and by no means gives her a pass for racial slurs.

Australian team didn't like her actions. Two naturalised Australians from Nigeria on the team were not happy.

Can't imagine Cambages Nigerian teammates at LA would be fond of her.

I really wish there was video of Cambage getting dropped.

I'd like to apologise to the NBA and WNBA. Australia have sent you two divas that do not represent our style of sportsmanship. Please forgive us. We have given you some tremendous people though. Patty Mills and Joe Ingles are great ambassadors for our country.

How can you make judgement when you admittedly say that you don’t know about the situation.

Liz has a long list of terrible things she’s done. She is by far the worst sports person around and I know all Australians are absolutely ashamed she represents us.
