Great, they're giving me zero reasons to watch their team this season. Wonderful.

I mean it does a little.
If, say, the Heat want to get in on Mitchell by offering Herro (for example) plus whomever, they will have to find another team to give up picks for Herro.
If, say, the Knicks try to pull picks off the table in favour of Toppin or Grimes or whomever, that might not work either.
Even if not much has changed, it has clarified.

I thought this was obvious.

Still seems like a staring contest between Ainge and Leon Rose over which of the Knicks’ six FR picks the Jazz will get.

Tanking can be fun especially when a generational talent is in the draft. The sad part for Knicks fans is the ping pong balls

Maybe one of these picks will be as good as Mitchell one day

I remember the tank in 2014 that the Jazz were in. I don't remember it being fun, except on Lottery Day and Draft Day. And that draft was hyped to an amazing point. And the Jazz got...Dante Exum. Great.
I mean if the Jazz go this route where the most interesting player on their roster is Jared Butler and Walker Kessler, great. I'm not going to watch it, but hey, I can find other things to do until the Lottery next May and the draft next June.

The point is to make their own picks good.

The most indirect way to say 'we're tanking for Victor'

Isn't this basically admitting to tanking?

If you get Victor it's all worth it, that's years of contention most likely
I am no Ainge fan but he's doing the right thing here.

i felt the same way when trail blazers shut down nurk & ant, that team became unwatchable
luckily, there were, as there are now, many other teams you can watch, so that will make the **** situation better

Ainge is going to accumulate a million picks and hoard them, and waste them like he did in Boston

Aren't you in Colorado? If you can figure out how to watch them you should enjoy the beauty of Jokic's game.
