I mean, I'll take this with a grain of salt. But it's possible so I'll entertain it as true.
This is why I just avoid Simmons if I'm a GM. And we do these 'mock redrafts', I keep Simmons down the list. Yes his potential is so so so high....but due is just a Kyrie type liability at this point.

I want to believe it but its Bucher. He just says things for attention now because he's now become irrelevant as an NBA insider. FS1 uses him to feed their NBA talk because Shams/Woj don't work for them so they can't have them on but nobody takes him seriously.

To Bucher's credit, it was also reported by more reputable guys that the Nets were surprised and disappointed Simmons wasnt gonna play game 4. Be a pretty weird and oddly specific thing for him to make up

Yeah, right. Do you really think that Simmons is going to lose at COD with all the free time he's had to perfect his game!!! He's probably one of the top players in the world by now.
