A little surprised Cade generally held to number one and Mobley came in higher than Barnes on average.

Meh, it's the 4-15 range where I'd like to see who gets redrafted. But it obviously way too early for this.

Its one of the most interesting drafts in recent history. High ceilings.

Yeah why take the ROY and guy with the highest ceiling first, even with hindsight

Mobley and Barnes gotta be #1 and 2, right?

Yep, redrafting exercise a season after their rookie season is just stupid. Young players don't make their most significant leap (if they even do) until their third or fourth season, or some will just level off and most remain the player that they are, some are deep on the bench and need an opportunity on another team, and others will flame out.

Depends who you talk to. I can't think of any Pistons fans who would take either of them over Cade. And I'm sure a parallel sentiment applies to the Cavs fans regarding Mobley and Raptors fans regarding Barnes.

Will be interesting to have this discussion again in 2-3 years.

Assuming the big reason for ORL not taking Suggs again in a redraft is due to his shooting, I'm not seeing why they'd then opt for Giddey.

Also 'Zero' chance Kuminga makes it into the top 4. Like.. Nah.. I'm still taking Green and Wagner over him. Maybe even Giddey.

Orlando would be a hard team to figure out. Both Giddey and Suggs cant shoot a lick. But Suggs offers terrific defense, while Giddey offers elite play-making. So it's really about team construction at that point, but if I had to guess I'd say they'd take Giddey for the roster they have right now.

Yeah it's so hard. I've seen a lot of Mobley and Cade and they're both something special. But obviously I love Barnes because I watched him all year.

anyone who is still not having Cade going #1 pretty much exposing themselves to never be taken seriously again

I think there is still a lot of belief that Cade has the highest upside still. TBH I was never a big Cade fan (as in him being a no brainer #1) but I can see why people believe that. This draft more than most others really needs a few years though to tell how it will shake out. It won’t be like 2 years ago where Ant looks like a really smart pick, simply because that draft wasn’t loaded with all the talent last years was.

Wrong.

Re-drafts a year later are dumb. I'm sure that every team at the top especially are perfectly happy with their picks still.
The one big change I'd make in a re-draft, if anything, is Herb Jones going a lot higher.

I love this class. I was watching the peach jam high school tournament when these guys were in grade 10 and all the coaches there were talking about how nba teams should start tanking when these guys were eligble. amazing that nearly all of them panned out.

After one season it's almost as big of a crapshoot as before the draft. Especially in a year where the majority of top picks impressed.

Too early, but no way you don't put and Mobely and Barnes as #1 and #2 right now.

The Barnes and Mobley over Cade stuff is super weird to me considering that Cade is far and away the highest offensive ceiling guy and fits the most valuable player archetype in the league (big play-making and 3-tool scoring wing). Defense matters but not as much as a true franchise offensive anchor when it comes to individual player value. Mobley and Barnes have a higher floor, but their offense is far from a sure thing.
