That makes Lorenzo Brown's naturalization more irrelevant. He is not a transcendent player.

Whether or not he can excel in the NBA is irrelevant. If you put Domantas Sabonis on Spain's team instead of Brown, they probably lose to LTU, despite Domantas being a solidified NBA starter, just like 2004 LBJ and Wade struggled, even Tim Duncan had a hard time.

Yeah, I understand what you said, but the point is that Lorenzo Brown is not a game changer, not in EuroLeague neither. It’s not like they "signed" a great player to make the competition unbalanced.

He is still one of the best players in the tournament. Euroleague is also different from Eurobasket cause players are way more athletic in Euroleague cause it features Americans.

You might claim Brown isn't a game changer but he has either scored or assisted all of Spain's field goals in this 3rd quarter so far, except that 3 by Parra. Plus he's so athletic compared to the competition that he is roaming around on defense double teaming, getting deflections etc. He's essentially Kawhi Leonard out there on defense while looking like CP3 on offense.

I'm not criticizing Spain. Just saying that Brown is an absolute beast in this kind of setting.
